— Govalle restaurant The Brewer’s Table is finally debuting its beers with a party on Sunday, June 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Among head brewer Drew Durish’s six beers are the restaurant’s signature beer the Common Lager, the Beets by Drew (made with roasted beets), and the Baltic Hash (with sweet potatoes and mesquite pod syrup). Tickets for the party are $25 and include three beer pours, and a plate of food with meat and three sides. Plus there will be music, a photo booth, and games.

— Central East Austin neighborhood bar Nickel City is rightly so included in Esquire’s list of the best bars in the country for the year (there is a reason Eater Austin awarded it the bar of the year in 2017). It was commended for its easy vibe combined with combined with actually great drinks and shots.

— The oven at Henbit, the fast-casual stall from Emmer & Rye in downtown food hall Fareground, caught on fire on Sunday evening, but it quickly reopened the next day. The fire started because of a blower motor failure, according to the Austin Fire Department’s Twitter account, and it caused $25,000 of damages.
