Epoch Coffee continues to grow in Austin with its fifth cafe, located in downtown Austin. It’ll be found at 111 Sandra Muraida Way, Suite 101 within the Gables Park Tower Apartments.
Along with coffee, this Epoch Coffee location will serve beer and wine. The rest of the menu remains the same as the other locations: coffee, cold brew, pastries, cakes, sandwiches, pizza, and more.
The Epoch team had been wanting to open a downtown location for a while, according to director of operations Randi Jones Hensley. This address was appealing because of the residential neighborhood and the pedestrian bridge across the Colorado River. Nearby is Merit Coffee, the San Antonio import with coffee, Bakery Lorraine pastries, Maybelle’s doughnuts, and Tacodeli tacos.
Epoch is keeping busy with one other forthcoming location. The second will be part of the massive Plaza Saltillo development on West 5th Street, joined by Dolce Neve, Barcelona Wine Bar, Snooze, Whole Foods Market 365, and others. All of that is set to open sometime in 2019.
The first Epoch Coffee, which happens to be open 24/7, opened on North Loop in 2006. Then there’s the second coffee shop on West Anderson Lane, which isn’t open 24/7, and the third on Far West Boulevard in Northwest Hills.
This article has been updated to reflect the opening of the Far West coffee shop.
