Hopdoddy Burger Bar Adds First-Time Breakfast Burger

— Hopdoddy Burger Bar whipped up a breakfast burger for the first time. It comes with a patty made of beef, breakfast sausage, and smoked ham, topped with scrambled eggs, bacon, American cheese, potatoes, and mayonnaise. The burger special is available through Wednesday, April 25.

— Alpine-based Big Bend Brewing is expanding with a production facility and taproom in San Antonio, according to Austin 360. It should open sometime before the end of the year.

— For the Thai New Year, Sway brought back its Songkran menu this month again. This includes dishes like tempura-fried alligator, panna cotta with smoked cardamom and starfruit, and a punch with kaffir lime-infused sake. It’s available from Sunday, April 8 through Sunday, April 15 during dinner service.

— Pastry chef Abby Love is hosting a pastry pop-up at Gemelli Gelateria tomorrow, Saturday, April 7, with croissants, breads, and cookies starting at 10 a.m. She is going to open her own bakery, L’Oven, once she finds the right location in Austin.

— This weekend, rideshare app Lyft is offering ten percent-off rides to breweries that are members of the Texas Craft Brewers Guild as part of its new partnership with the organization. It runs from Saturday to Sunday April 7 to 8.
