Lakeway Restaurant The League Is Expanding Into Dripping Springs

— Lakeway restaurant the League Kitchen and Tavern is expanding to a third location, which will be found within the mixed-use development Belterra Village in Dripping Springs. It’s set to open in May at 166 Hargraves Drive. Owner Tony Ciola and Creed Ford IV opened the first restaurant in 2011, followed by the second one in Avery Ranch in 2013. They also run pizzeria Tony C’s, with two restaurants in Bee Caves and Avery Ranch. Belterra already includes Sky Cinemas and Hat Creek Burger Co. To come are Torchy’s Tacos and Stiles Switch BBQ & Brew’s The Switch.

— Via 313’s East 6th Street restaurant will start serving lunch beginning today, Monday, April 23. It begins at 11 a.m.

— It’s obvious that the most popular beer drunk in Texas would be Lone Star, right?

— Bumble and Planned Parenthood will give out free french fries from P. Terry’s while handing out pamphlets about sexual consent based on the nonprofit’s informational acronym: FRIES (freely given, reversible, informed, enthusiastic, and specific). It takes place on Wednesday, April 25 at the University of Texas-Austin campus.
