West Sixth Street is getting a new Japanese restaurant and nightclub with TenTen and Mayfair, respectfully. The two new establishments will join fancy boozy bowling alley The Goodnight’s second location on 506 West 6th Street in the forthcoming Blueprint building, opening in June.
TenTen’s menu focuses on modern Japanese fare, including sushi and barbecue. It will also include cocktails and sake. The first-floor restaurant will include a patio. It’s currently looking for a head sushi chef.
Then there’s the Mayfair, the building’s nightclub and outdoor terrace with what it refers to as a Victorian theme, whatever that means. It’ll be found on the third floor of the building.
Fancy bowling alley and bar The Goodnight is still taking over the second floor of Blueprint. Also slated is an events venue on the 4th floor. The West 6th Street address used to be home to the Miller Blueprint facility.
The two new restaurants are courtesy of the Nova Hospitality Group, the group consists of a bunch of people who have worked in Las Vegas, like founder Jack Zimmermann who spent time at Wynn Resorts’ XS and Trust, and interior designer Lisa Escobar, who worked on Wynn Las Vegas and Encore.
Downtown Austin is also getting another bowling alley with the expansion of Punch Bowl Social.
