Seafood specialist Guild opens tomorrow, Friday, March 9, at 3800 North Lamar Boulevard. The newest member of the Chameleon Group, which also operates Wu Chow and Swift’s Attic, Guild marks the group’s first restaurant not to be located downtown, and they certainly have made use of the ample space.

Chef and partner Sterling Ridings, who was previously executive chef at Uchiko, is at the helm of the Rosedale restaurant, so expect an impressive raw bar including oysters, crudo, and ceviche. On the cooked side of things, there are sea offerings from cod to octopus, plus vegetarian and land proteins, too.

Eater photographer Courtney Pierce has an exclusive look at Guild’s dreamy interior, plus the upscale patio (which includes a shuffleboard court) and a sampling of menu items. Guild will be open for dinner on Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday from 5 to 10 p.m., and then until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
