— Galaxy Cafe, the mini-Austin neighborhood restaurant chain, is closing its location in the Triangle at 4616 Triangle Avenue. Its last day will be on Sunday, April 15. The owners, including co-owner Kelly Chappell, is looking to relocate the restaurant in another “friendly neighborhood,” according to the Facebook post, that offers more parking spots and easier access for people walking. Along with the other three locations: West Lynn, Brodie Lane, and Mesa Drive, Galaxy Cafe also runs Zozolo Cafe and Top Notch.
— Bon Appetit tried 26 tacos in Austin and decided that the best specialty taco (the taco spot’s signature dish) came from Valentina’s Tex Mex BBQ with its Real Deal Holyfield, and the best classic taco is from Rosita al Pastor. Other tacos came from Veracruz All Natural, Dai Due Taqueria, Tamale House East, Tacodeli, and more.
