Austin’s Pizza Bagel Trend Continues With Rosen’s Bagel Co.’s Newest Offering

Austin’s pizza bagel trend continues with the latest offering from Rosen’s Bagel Co. The pizza bagels are available at its East Austin outpost at Wright Bros. Brew & Brew on 500 San Marcos Street. The new items were part of owner Tom Rosen’s Kickstarter pledge campaign.

On deck are pizza bagels with cheese, margherita, and pepperoni. There’s also a dessert option: the s’mores with Nutella, graham cracker crust, and toasted marshmallows. The bites will be available from 3 p.m. through midnight daily.

Rosen is still working on the bagel shop’s brick-and-mortar, which is getting closer to becoming a reality. However, he wasn’t able to share any further details. The regular bagels are now found throughout various Austin shops, like Sa-Ten, Juice Society, Alta’s Cafe, and ABGB. At Cosmic Coffee + Beer Garden, the bagels are paired with smoked meats and brisket cream cheese.

Recently, Rockstar Bagels introduced pizza bagels earlier this year in Foster Heights. Toppings include meats, vegetables, vegan iterations, and the Hawaiian with ham and pineapple.
