Austin brands Austin Eastciders and Cuvée Coffee are teaming up for South by Southwest with cold brew cider. The boozy caffeinated drink will be found at Austin Eastciders new tap room at 979 Springdale Road, until it sells out.

The Austin Eastciders tap room, which opened in November, was specifically set up as a place to experiment with special releases. The cidery notes that most collaborations sell out within a week.

The cold brew cider has 60-mg of caffeine per pint to help drinkers stay awake through SXSW. The drink will appeal to “those who love to pair their chocolates with fruit,” according to Cuvée Coffee production manager Logan Allender, because of the “malty, dry, chocolatey goodness of coffee mixed with the bright, sweet, and acidic flavors of cider.”

Cuvée Coffee opened its tasting room on East Sixth in August 2014, and while it also has taps for beer and cider, the collaboration is only available at the Austin Eastciders tasting room.
