Popular San Antonio brewery and restaurant Southerleigh Brewing Co. will keep the doors locked for lunch and happy hour today, so that employees may go vote in the Texas midterm elections.

Southerleigh chef Jeff Balfour wrote on Facebook:

This thing is almost done. We are taking one final step @southerleigh to help and encourage all of our friends, co-workers and neighbors to get out, vote and have your voice be heard. Southerleigh will be closed tomorrow for lunch and happy hour to allow our staff the opportunity to make it out to the polls. We will open for dinner at 5pm. We’ll see you then. Also for anyone interested the guys and I will be giving rides to anyone that needs help getting to their voting spot.

The restaurant also posted on Facebook to remind customers that the hours are a bit different today to allow everyone to perform their civic duties. Have you voted yet?

Have you voted yet? We'll be closed for lunch tomorrow (11/6 until 5 p.m.) to allow our employees time to vote. Join them at the polls and cast your ballot!
