— That location of casual seafood chain Joe’s Crab Shack on 600 East Riverside Drive is temporarily closed because of repairs to the building.
— The first-ever Austin Restaurant Weeks, which was held in late August and early September, raised $137,408 to be donated to the Central Texas Food Bank.
— There was a bomb threat at the Whataburger found in Lakeway at 2011 Ranch Road 620 South on Tuesday, October 30. The building was evacuated and the Lakeway Police Department determined that there were no bombs.
