San Antonio pastry shop Bakery Lorraine is opening its first-ever Austin location on Monday, October 22 at 1600 Rock Rose Avenue within Rock Rose up in the Domain Northside.

On deck will be Bakery Lorraine’s solid lineup of pastries, from co-owners and chefs Anne Ng and Jeremy Mandrell, which means lots of macarons, pains au chocolat, muffins, bread puddings, breads, tarts, and more.

The bakery will also serve non-pastry items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch, like breakfast sandwiches, parfaits, quiche, salads, soups, and sandwiches. Plus it’ll serve beer, wine and coffee.

Ng and Mandrell know what they’re doing when it comes to sweets: they worked at Bouchon Bakery in San Francisco under Thomas Keller. They opened Bakery Lorraine in 2011 in San Antonio.

Bakery Lorraine’s Austin hours will be from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
