SXSW 2018 is just less than 50 days away, and the giant interactive/film/music festival revealed the lineup for the annual SouthBites Trailer Park in downtown Austin on Driskill and Rainey streets, with a major addition: an entire section dedicated to coffee.

The food trailer court will feature the Roasters Village, highlighting coffee vendors and roasters from across the country. This Germany-based micro-roastery/bakery/cafe Five Elephant, Chicago-based Intelligentsia (which is now owned by Peet’s Coffee & Tea), Oregon’s Deadstock Coffee, Dallas’ Tweed Coffee Roasters, sparkling cold brew Upruit, and others.

And then for the food: again, like last year, SouthBites isn’t featuring any local barbecue trailers, but the only out-of-towner truck, Brooklyn-based Ghost & Grits, boasts of Indian-inspired Tennessee barbecue.

It makes sense that automated-coffee kiosk Briggo Coffee Haus is appearing at SouthBites, because of technology + coffee. (which just opened its first location on the Drag within Moojo this month).

Other newcomers include Noble Sandwich Co.’s food truck, Bodhi Viet Veggie Cuisine, One Taco, and Ranch Hand, all based in Austin. The only other out-of-towner is also a first-timer: Indian-Southern food truck Ghost & Grits (based in Brooklyn).

SouthBites Trailer Park will also feature a marketplace with retail food goods.

SouthBites Trailer Park will be open from Friday, March 9 through Monday, March 19, from 11 a.m. to midnight each day. The Roasters Village will from Saturday, March 10 through Monday, March 12, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day.
