Step Inside Veracruz All Natural’s Charming New Restaurant

One of Austin’s best taco trucks opens its second restaurant

Veracruz All Natural, one of Austin’s best taco trucks, opened its second restaurant this week in North Burnet. The menu includes the trailer’s best dishes, including those migas tacos. The new space also allows the kitchen to expand its menu, featuring open-faced tacos full of steak and mole pipian, along with new tacos like the chile relleno and chicken milanesa, and plates like chilaquiles and enchiladas.

Eater photographer Robert J. Lerma took a tour of the latest addition to the Veracruz family. The new Waterford Centre Boulevard restaurant takes takes a similar rustic look to its Round Rock sibling, full of wood panels, corrugated metal, and edison lightbulbs.

The coffee bar is courtesy of coffee trailer Machine Head Coffee. The menu is full of caffeine, from espresso to lattes to iced coffee, plus tea, chai, and vanilla/chocolate syrups. Machine closed down its trailer, previously found in the Mueller Trailer Eats park, in anticipation of new cafe . Veracruz is also serving aguas frescas, juices, and smoothies.

Veracruz All Natural and Machine Head Coffee's hours are from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
