Colorful sweet shop Yummi Joy opened its doors over the weekend in downtown Austin. The cafe is an expansion of quirky toy store Toy Joy, in collaboration with vegan ice cream parlor Sweet Ritual.

Yummi Joy serves dairy-free ice cream, ranging from conventional flavors like salted caramel and toasted coconut to more creative offerings like sunflower chocolate chip and squid ink. There’s also homemade fudge (including vegan flavors in chocolate and peanut butter), soda floats, and coffee drinks with lots of flavor shot options. Read on for the full menu below.

It also sells bulk candy with vegan, non-GMO, no high fructose corn syrup, gluten-free, and gelatin-free options. The listed hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Yummi Joy is the second collaboration between Sweet Ritual and Toy Joy. The ice cream shop co-founder Amelia Raley made and served ice cream at Toy Joy’s original location on the Drag nine years ago. She branched out to focus on vegan ice cream with Sweet Ritual with co-founder Valerie Ward in 2011.

This week brings an opportunity to sample the wares. Yummi Joy will be handing out free miniature cones, drip coffee, samples of fudge, and more on Wednesday and Thursday, September 20 and 21, from 6 to 9 p.m.
