Austin-Bergstrom International Airport now has a new Italian market, restaurant, wine bar, and cafe with the opening of I Vini, found at Gate 20. It’s from Love Nance, the owner of Annies Cafe and Bar and her development company Paseo Brands.

The menu spans Italian bites, like breakfast (pastries and frittatas), pastas, pizza, sandwiches, salads, to breads, along with freshly-cut salumi platters. As for drinks, there are espresso options and a wine bar. There will be a dedicated takeout bar for beer and wine to-go, as well as a prepared foods section (think bruschetta boxes) and dine in area.

I Vini’s space was designed by Dick Clark and Associates (the head of the company, Dick Clark, passed away this week) in conjunction with designer Brett Stiles. It's open from 5 a.m. to the last scheduled flight of each day.

Interestingly, I Vini will be joined by another Austin-based Italian restaurant, Mandola’s. That was announced as part of the Austin airport’s new phase of upgraded local eats, which also includes Tacodeli, Peached Tortilla, and others.

Other wine options in the airport include chain Vino Volo as well as the Second Bar and Kitchen’s third location, which will include wine curated by sommelier Paula Rester

Delaware North operates the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport’s dining options. Nance also operates the Austin airport outpost of Annies as well as Farm Aire.
