— Texas’ favorite supermarket HEB has been helping out with Hurricane Harvey efforts in Southeast Texas. It sent out its disaster relief units and mobile kitchens to Victoria, Texas. The former included pharmacy and ATM operations, and the latter served hot meals to the community and first responders. The kitchen can whip up 6,000 every day.

— African food truck Cazamance has a new home in the Pocket Food Trailer Park on South Congress Avenue, beyond Stassney Lane, with breakfast and dinner. Morning foods-obsessed Paperboy took over its spot at Radio Coffee and Beer on Manchaca Road in July.

USA Today's 10 Best named Llano spot Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que's brisket sandwich as the best in Texas. No Austin restaurant made the list, though Franklin Barbecue, Stiles Switch BBQ and Brew, and both Black's Barbecue locations in Austin and Lockhart were in the running.

— Actor and food lover Aziz Ansari is a fan of Franklin Barbecue.
