East Coast favorite burger chain Shake Shack is opening its first San Antonio location on Wednesday, August 23. It’ll be found in the Park North Shopping Center in Shearer Hills/Ridgeview. The cult spot will bring along those Shackburgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, custards, fries, beer, and wine.
Special to the San Antonio store will be two local concrete collaborations. The first is with Bird’s Bakery, where its peanut butter and chocolate cookie is used for the Peanut Butter concrete with vanilla custard and peanut butter sauce. The second pairs Granary ‘Cue and Brew’s buttermilk chess pie with vanilla custard for the Pie Oh My (five percent of those sales will go towards the San Antonio Food Bank). Like the other Texas locations, it’ll serve up the Lockhart Link Burger, a cheeseburger topped with a Kreuz Market jalapeno cheese sausage.
The San Antonio Shake Shack hours are from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. For its opening day, the first 50 guests will receive a free concrete.
Shake Shack also announced its first Washington state location in Seattle earlier this month. There are six other locations throughout Texas, with two in Austin.
