East Austin taco trailer Pueblo Viejo is growing up with a new restaurant as part of venue and bar North Door on Brushy Street. The kitchen will be found to the left of the main entrance. The taco menu will remain the same, which means breakfast and regular ones, like the Taco Viejo with chorizo, potato, eggs, and beans. Then there’s the namesake one with steak, mushrooms, and avocado.

The new Pueblo was meant to open in late June, as an Eater tipster pointed out, but there have been some delays. It’s looking to actually open on Wednesday, July 12. Then, its hours will begin at 7:30 a.m. every day, running until 10 p.m. on the weekdays and sometime late on weekends.

To prep for the new kitchen, Pueblo closed down its East 6th Street trailer in the meantime, but the East Cesar Chavez one in front of Craftsman is still open.

Co-owners Margarita Mendez opened Pueblo in 2010, and she was later joined by her brother Nestor Méndez Martínez.
