— Canopy by Hilton is looking to open a hotel right in the heart of West 6th Street, taking over the former 219 West location. The building would include a restaurant serving presumably breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This specific hotel branch's only open location is in Iceland, with a bunch of others in the works, along with one in San Antonio
— Chef Alex Manley is hosting her next bagel pop-up with downtown cocktail bar Small Victory. On deck are the wood-fired bagels, along with cream cheese and cured and smoked fish from Lamberts’ chef Joseph Galindo. The bar is following suit with rum punches, Bloody Marys, and cold aquavit and vodka shots. It takes place on Sunday, July 30, from 3 to 9 p.m.
