Austin-Bergstrom International Airport’s food offerings are about to get even better with the addition of a whole bunch of local restaurants and bars. Look out for Tacodeli, Peached Tortilla, Jo's Coffee, Flyrite Chicken, Mandola's Italian Market, and Hat Creek Burger Co., as noted by the “coming soon” notice posted by Peached owner Eric Silverstein on Instagram and pointed out by Food Trailers Austin.

There is no word on when these ventures will open or where everything will be found within the airport. Silverstein confirmed the new location, but Eater has reached out to the Austin Bergstrom-International Airport for more information, watch this space for updates.

Update, 4:21 p.m.: The airport’s Twitter account noted that Tacodeli will be found within Gate 9.

Update, July 20, 8:09 a.m.: Hat Creek Burger Co. confirmed the expansion. Quirino Silva, Flyrite Chicken's director of culinary operations and interactive marketing manager, also confirmed via Twitter. Jo’s Coffee offered no comment.

Update, July 20, 1:10 p.m.: Joining the growing number of anticipated eateries is JuiceLand. Also, Flyrite owner Kevin Warden further confirmed the chicken airport expansion to Eater, writing that he is “very excited to bring Flyrite Chicken to ABIA.”

Update, July 24, 11:30 a.m.: A representative for the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport confirmed all new openings with a couple of additional names: Mad Greens, Berry Austin, and Hut's Hamburgers.

The East Food Court, which will be found across the way from Gates 7 and 8, will include Peached, Mad Greens, Departure Lounge, Berry, and JuiceLand. The West Food Court, across from Gate 12, will include Hat Creek, Mandola's, Flyrite, and renovations to Amy's Ice Cream. East Food Court’s construction should begin later this year, and West Food Court will begin in early 2018.

This is part of the airport’s massive renovation project, which also includes an outpost of Second Bar & Kitchen, Salt Lick’s larger revamped space, Departure Lounge’s eventual new home, and I Vini, the Italian wine bar/restaurant/market from the Annies Bar founder.

The airport also recently opened the separate South Terminal, which features a food truck court with rotating options.
