— Newcomer campus pizzeria Pizza Press raised $3,200 during its opening fundraiser for the Harrison Brown Memorial Fund, in honor of the student who died after the UT stabbing attack in May.
— Now there's a beer that works perfectly with tacos, thanks to taco journalists Mando Rayo and Jarod Neece and Independence Brewing. They created the Revolucion Saison, which is meant to pair with meaty tacos like carne asada and tacos al pastor. The beer is going to make its debut on Saturday, July 1 with a party at the Todd Lane brewery.

— A woman sued Cedar Park Tex-Mex restaurant Dos Salsas because she claimed that the flaming queso (which involves actual fire) burned her due to improper service (the waitress lit the queso on fire with a chemical, but the flames went sideways, hitting the customer). In response, the restaurant got rid of the fire aspect of the dish. The woman is looking for $1 million for her second and third-degree burns.
