Austinities are clamoring for the Impossible Burger’s meatless patty which mimics the texture and taste of ground beef to the point where it looks like it bleeds. The burger is found in Austin for the first time ever at all locations of Hopdoddy Burger Bar. The burger restaurant can’t seem to keep the vegan patties in stock because they are selling out fast.

All four Austin-area locations received 255 patties on Friday, June 23, and started selling out over the weekend. First, Anderson Lane sold out immediately that evening, followed by South Congress on Sunday night, the Triangle and Round Rock on Monday afternoon.

The next shipment, with 102 patties each for four locations, will arrive tomorrow, Tuesday, June 28, making the burgers readily available for dinner time. And then the Austin burger chain will get another delivery on Thursday, June 29 with the same quantity.

Hopdoddy adds cheddar cheese, lettuce, white onions, and a mayonnaise and horseradish honey mustard sauce to its iteration of the burger.
