Sushi Restaurant Lucky Robot Opens Tacos and Tortas Spot on Campus

Lucky Robot Japanese Kitchen is getting into the taco game with its newest restaurant, Revolución, opening right on the University of Texas at Austin campus tomorrow, Wednesday, June 21. Students visiting the new Texas Union spot will be able to order tacos, tortas, and bowls with brisket, tofu sofritas, rice, cheese, and more, along with breakfast tacos, lunch tortas, and more. Scope out the full menu below.

Lucky Robot owner Adam Weisberg wanted to try something different with the new spot, and thought that Austin needed another place making tortas.

Chef Camden Stuerzenberger consulted on the menu with Lucky Robot. Bread is provided by Slow Dough Bakery and tortillas from El Matador Foods, both based in Houston. Stuerzenberger keeping busy with Winebelly’s new restaurant, Phoebe’s Diner, set to open next month.

Texas Union's other food options currently include Smokehouse BBQ, Chick-fil-A, Field of Greens Fresh Market, Wendy's, Quiznos Sub, Starbucks, and grocery stop Provisions on Demand. It also includes music venue and bar Cactus Cafe.
