— Eater Houston put together a helpful and thoughtful guide to Buc-ee's bountiful food options, from beaver nuggets to candies, as well as offering suggested jerky order, and how to take advantage of free samples.

— On the heels of Snow's BBQ's number one slot on Texas Monthly's barbecue list, the magazine hung out with pitmaster Tootsie Tomanetz, a.k.a. The Master, as the title of the video suggests. Barbecue editor Daniel Vaughn called Snow’s the “ultimate chef’s table,” where customers, who come into Lexington from all over the world, spend their Saturdays watching Tomanetz do her thing.

— East 6th Street is going to look a lot different in the future with Palm Springs, California-based boutique hotel Arrive, right across the street from Whisler’s and Odd Duck partner Sam Hellmann-Mass’ Mexican-inspired restaurant Suerte. Of course it’ll include two restaurants and bars, and a coffee spot. Arrive is set to open in 2019.

— The League Kitchen and Tavern is opening its third location out in Dripping Springs, as part of the Belterra Village, debuting in 2018. The new development will also include Stiles Switch BBQ’s unnamed restaurant, Torchy’s Tacos, and Violet Crown Cinema's new theater and beer garden Sky Cinemas.
