Red's Porch is bringing its plentiful patios and comfort food up to far north Austin between 183 and Mopac for its second location, as reported by Community Impact.

Update: The new Red’s Porch Quarry is now open. It is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the weekdays, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.

Dubbed Red's Porch Quarry, the second restaurant will offer up the same Southern, Texan, and Tex-Mex fare. Expect burgers, fried chicken, queso, tacos, and more. This location will feature new brunch dishes, including a new emphasis on smoked seafood, as noted by the publication. For drinks, look for wine, beer, margaritas, and other cocktails.

Construction for Red’s Porch Quarry began in February, and it’s slated to open sometime this summer, potentially in the middle of June. Future expansions look to Round Rock and San Antonio.

Founder Davis Tucker opened Red's in 2009. He also oversees North by Northwest Brewery, which has locations in south and north Austin.
