No Va Kitchen & Bar Shutters Next Week

Last day is June 3

Patrick Michels/EATX

After almost four years on Rainey Street, comfort food and cocktail hangout No Va Kitchen & Bar will lock the doors and look for a new tenant. Saturday, June 3, will be the last service for the restaurant.

NO VA’s director of operations Lorenzo Laurel made the following statement:

Our first priority is to find new career paths for all of our staff. They are the backbone of this restaurant and we want the best for them. Over the years, we have become like family with our neighbors on the street and we want to find a quality business that will stay true to Austin to operate at 87 Rainey. And, we especially want to thank all of our customers. We will miss them.

The closing comes with discounts on food and half-off wine until the doors shut next Saturday.
