— San Marcos is getting its very own cat cafe with nonprofit Cattery Lounge & Snackery. The lounge will feature roaming cats, offer adoptions through Paws of Central Texas, serve already-wrapped snacks and drinks (Statesman notes that everything will be made off the premises). It found a location on 235 North LBJ Drive, and it's in the process of raising funds and going through permitting. Austin's got its own cat cafe with Blue Cat Cafe.
— Austin City council banned e-cigarettes from bars and restaurants, which means no more vaping while drinking and eating. The council extended the ban to include places where cigarettes, cigars, and other tobacco items are prohibited.
— Delivery service Amazon Prime Now adds Sprouts Farmers Market to its lineup. This means people who don’t feel like going out can get produce, products, and more within one or two hours. The delivery service is available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
