Night Owl, the neighborhood-focused bar in Wooten, opens its doors starting on Thursday, April 6, at 5 p.m. Co-owners Danny Parrott and Jonathan Insley made sure the community was involved with the bar's development, to the point the bar won't host live music or loud outdoor events.
The cocktail list includes classic drinks (old fashioned, French 75, others), along with signature ones named after surrounding areas. The Wooten is mixed with bourbon, amaretto, pineapple juice, and ginger beer, whereas the Brentwood is the bar’s Bloody Mary made with green chile vodka. For other sources of alcohol, there are beer, ciders, wine, and sparkling drinks. Scope out the full menu below.
For now, there is no food available at the bar, though the co-owners had previously teased the idea of bar snacks. They’re currently working on getting the proper approvals to allow food trucks to set up shop at the bar.
Night Owl’s hours are from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Friday, and from noon to 2 a.m. on the weekends. Parrott and Insley also run Old School Bar & Grill on East 6th Street.
