Vegan ice cream shop Vicecreme is now open at Lake Travis, adjacent to The Oasis on Comanche Trail, where it scoops up plant-based frozen sweets. The menu includes six flavors of ice cream, banana-based soft serve, along with cold treats like shakes, sandwiches, splits, and sundaes too.
Vicecreme debuted with popular ice cream flavors like Rocky Road, cookies and creme, pistachio nut, cherry fudge brownie, and vanilla. Look for seasonal flavors to be added throughout the year, like maple pecan in the fall. Customers can add chocolate twists to the banana-based soft serve and customize any selection with a variety of vegan toppings including cookies and brownies to whipped cream and marshmallows.
The stylish shop is the brainchild of co-owners Mike Limongelli and Gina Galvan. The brother and sister team has years of service industry experience, though this is their first ice cream-making venture.

Vicecreme celebrated its grand opening this past Saturday and donated ten percent of its days proceeds to Austin Parks Foundation in honor of Earth Day. The shop’s dedication to giving back can also be seen its choice to sell Sand Cloud towels and bottles, Pura Vida bracelets, and Sydney Hale candles — all of which are companies that donate a portion of proceeds to causes like dog shelters and marine life.
The scoop shop’s hours are Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 10 p.m.
