Step Inside Whole Foods’ First Affordable Supermarket in Texas

365 by Whole Foods is the upscale supermarket’s branch of affordable stores, and the very first Texas location is opening in Cedar Park this week on Wednesday, April 26. Eater toured the new shop, which includes outposts of two Austin favorite spots: Easy Tiger and JuiceLand.

Easy Tiger’s Cedar Park menu will look similar to the original location down on Dirty Sixth: pretzels, sausages, breads, pastries, sandwiches, coffee, and beer. Browse the full lineup below. This is the second of its four overall locations in Austin. Next to come are Easy Tigers up in the Linc and downtown food hall Fareground. On deck for JuiceLand are its noted juices, smoothies, and shots.

Easy Tiger and JuiceLand join the new Whole Foods as part of the Friends of 365 Initiative, which aims to local restaurants and food vendors. Elsewhere, the market also features other familiar Austin names. This includes stands from Snap Kitchen and Garbo’s (which will serve up lobster rolls), as well as retail items and frozen goods from Kerbey Lane, P. Terry’s, and Yellowbird Hot Sauce.

The new market will offer up the usual array expected from a supermarket: organic produce, prepared foods boasting a lack of any artificial additives, products from its 365 Everyday Value line, etc. Whole Foods customers can also take advantage of its popular mochi bar as well as the taqueria, where customers can order tacos, burritos, and tortas through touch-screen pads.
