Attention, would-be members of the Eater team: we're looking to fill two Eater Austin positions with Austin residents who are obsessed with the city’s dining scene:, First, there’s the associate editor position, and then the summer internship.
Eater Austin is looking for someone who is available to blog for Eater on a daily basis, working directly with the current Austin editor Nadia Chaudhury. There will be an added opportunity for feature writing for the right candidate. Editing and other duties are also included in the daily job tasks. This is a part-time gig with commensurate pay. Applicants with flexible schedules (e.g.: no full-time, nine-to-five jobs) are encouraged to apply. You'll be able to work remotely as long as you can keep your ear close to the ground for good restaurant and nightlife intel. Read more and apply here.

The intern will come away with great portfolio clips and a deeper understanding on how to report on restaurant news in a fast-paced environment. The ideal intern is familiar with Austin’s food and dining scenes. Applicants should have strong writing skills, with bonus points for photography and/or Photoshop experience.
