Longtime Persian Restaurant Closes, and More A.M. Intel

— North Shoal Creek restaurant Alborz Persian Cuisine is now closed, after serving Persian and Iranian food for 17 years. The owners still run Plaka Greek Cafe in Georgetown.

— The East Austin Urban Farm Tour is back again and Austin restaurants will dish out bites at some of the city’s farms, including Lenoir at Boggy Creek Farm, forthcoming The Brewer’s Table at Hausbar, Dai Due at Rain Lily, Olamaie at Springdale Farm, and many others. The full lineup follows below. The tour takes place on Sunday, April 9, from 1 to 5 p.m. Tickets are $55.

— Kerlin BBQ is closed until Thursday, March 30 for a short vacation.
