Ride-hailing company Fasten is launching a new app that recommends Austin restaurants and bars to users.

By collecting riders’ data, Fasten Vouch figures out where passengers like to eat and drink through their most-requested drop-off sites. This includes places like Eberly, Perla's Uchiko, Whisler's, and Palazio Men's Club, as well as what is currently trending, which happens to include some SXSW venues (Easy Tiger, Wright Bros. Brew & Brew)

Eventually, Fasten CEO Kirill Evdakov wants to get those restaurants and bars involved with the app. The businesses could potentially offer to pay for rides to the restaurants or bars (either fully or partially) to bring in new customers.

With Fasten Vouch, Evdakov wants to share the company’s data with its users and showcase the “best places locals like to go,” he told Eater.

While it only exists as a webpage for now, it will be integrated into the app soon. It will launch in Austin first, followed by Boston (where it was founded).

Even though Uber doesn’t run in the city anymore, its restaurant food delivery service, UberEats, still does.
