Two familiar Austin spots are teaming up with 365 by Whole Foods, the upscale supermarket chain's line of affordable stores, for its Cedar Park location: Easy Tiger and JuiceLand. The entire shopping center is set to debut on Wednesday, April 26.
Easy Tiger and JuiceLand will have its own dedicated space within 365, including kitchens, counter space, and seating. Easy Tiger will dish out its full menu: breads, pastries, sausages, pretzels, and beer. JuiceLand will serve up juices, smoothies, snacks, and grab-and-go items.
Both Easy Tiger and JuiceLand featured within the new Whole Foods as part of the Friends of 365 initiative, where local restaurants and food vendors partner with the market. Snap Kitchen is also joining the market, though not as a “friend.”
The overall goal of 365 is to offer up comparatively less expensive groceries and products, focusing on Whole Foods' in-house brand, and a more limited selection of other goods.
The first 365 opened in Los Angeles (which includes an outpost of New York-based vegan restaurant By Chloe), followed by Lake Oswego, Oregon and Bellevue, Washington. Impending locations include the just announced Brooklyn and Oakland, and others throughout the country.
2017 is the year of Easy Tiger expansions, with its stand at fall’s downtown Austin food hall Fareground (which parent company ELM is curating) and the second brick and mortar up in the Linc, pegged for the spring.
