— Whataburger dreamed up and created the perfect football stadium, albeit a model-sized one, full of burgers, chicken tenders, fries, and a lot of orange and white packaging.

— Griddled sandwich trailer Luke’s Inside Out nixed the all-you-can-eat brunch and replaced it with a brand new Sunday morning menu, full of comforting dishes like the corned beef hash, Sichuan chicken and waffles, and taco filled with tater tots and breakfast sausages. It's available from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday.

— Dai Due is offering up wagyu cheeseburgers on Tuesdays, served with a side of tallow fries. It begins weekly at 5 p.m.

— Italic got a shout out in Saveur's monthly travel food diary. Digital editor Dan Q. Dao enjoyed the downtown Italian restaurant's pizza and pasta.

— Juice Society is adding herb lattes and tonics to its lineup, with ingredients like ashwaganda, he shou wu, chaga, and reishi.

— Cider company Eastciders and Australian-style meat pie makers Boomerang's raised a whole bunch of money from various investors.

— Frito pie pizza? Bufalina said why not.
