Doc B’s Fresh Kitchen, a restaurant based out of Chicago, is now open and serving at the Domain Northside. This is the first Texas location for the chain (though two are forthcoming to Fort Worth), which also has locations in Florida.
Doc B’s is named after founder Craig Bernstein’s late father, Doctor Robert Bernstein. As such, the menu features plenty of healthy items like a tuna burger, entree salads, and a cocktail with organic beet juice. However, the menu also includes more sinful options like Danish barbecue ribs, pizzas, and cinnamon toast crunch cheesecake.
Though most of the menu is the same as other locations, there are a few items exclusive to Austin. These include the aforementioned tuna burger, the jumbo lump crab stack, and the crispy oyster lettuce wraps. The restaurant is an expansive 5,000 square feet, with a 27-person island bar and pop art covering the walls.
Doc B’s is open Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
