Tacodeli’s Salsa Doña Growlers, and More A.M. Intel

— Tacodeli is making it easier to bring home its oh-so-spicy salsa doña sauce home: the sauce is now available the take-home form of a 32-ounce growler. The catch? There are only 100 growlers available, so people will have to enter a lottery for a chance to purchase the $25 bottle. Once the salsa is all gone, people will be able to refill the growler with beers from Pinthouse Pizza with a half-off coupon. The lottery opens on Friday, December 8 and runs through Tuesday, December 12.

— Sherlock's Baker St. Pub & Grill closed down its Research Boulevard location this week, which it announced with a Facebook post. It noted that the shutter was because of "economic impacts this past year and recent Hurricane Harvey" reasons.

— Mighty Fine Burgers is celebrating its tenth anniversary by offering its entire menu for half-off today, Wednesday, December 6, from its burgers to milkshakes.

— Tribeza's people of the year issue includes the co-owners of Eater's restaurant of the year Kemuri Tatsu-ya Tatsu Aikawa and Takuya Matsumoto

— Salty Sow debuted a new patio lunch menu for a charitable reason. Partial proceeds from wagyu burgers and meatloaf sandwiches will benefit the Farmer Veteran Coalition. It’s available on Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the restaurant’s patio. The restaurant also introduced a four-course tasting menu too, for $20 per person during dinner Sunday through Wednesday.

— Sway’s anniversary, and for the month, the Thai restaurant brought back old dishes for a limited time, like Lockhart quail curry and ube tarts. It’s available through Sunday, December 10 for dinner.
