Austin hot dog experts Frank is now open on Guadalupe in West Campus. It took over Symon's Burger Joint's counter-service position within retail company Urban Outfitters’ "lifestyle concept" Space 24 Twenty. It opened sometime in October.

Frank's campus menu is simple, from hot dogs and sausages (like the mac and cheese-topped Notorious P.I.G.), a burger, waffle fries, and other assorted sides. There are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options as well. For drinks, there are beers, sodas, and milkshakes.

The counter-service window faces Guadalupe, and there's a small outdoor bar area in the back with counter-seating and a television.

Cleveland chef Michael Symon closed down his Austin spin-off of his fast-casual burger chain B Spots Burgers over the spring. Also within Space 24 Twenty used to be Philadelphia chef Marc Vetri’s Pizzeria Vetri, which closed in January. Taking over that location is Austin coffee trailer Lucky Lab Coffee Co.’s first brick and mortar cafe.

Frank also took over the food and beverage services at the historic beer garden Scholz Garten. Implemented changes to the downtown bar include new sausages and sides and an updated beer list.
