Brunch-focused chain Snooze is expanding its Austin footprint with a third location set for East Austin as part of the Plaza Saltillo development on East 4th and 5th streets, as reported by Statesman. The downtown location of craft beer chain Ginger Man will also relocate to the project, as noted by Austin Business Journal.

Both Ginger Man and the third Snooze join a plethora of other restaurants and shops: Dolce Neve’s second Austin location, another Epoch Coffee cafe, Austin's first location of Spanish tapas chain Barcelona and Stout Burgers and Beers, as well as brand new juice spot Austin Juicery.

The 11-acre Plaza Saltillo property will include apartments, offices, open green space, and a public market with vendors to be announced later. Everything is projected to open in 2019.

Snooze made its Texas debut on South Lamar in May 2016, which was quickly followed by its second Austin and Texas location the next month on North Lamar.
