— Austin Business Journal released a ranked list of the 50 fastest-growing companies in the city, and a couple of culinary favorites made the list. High Brew Coffee was #3 overall, and Nada Moo non-dairy ice cream (a fave of Rosario Dawson) was ranked #7.

— Wok & Roll will be leaving the airport. The departure appears to be contentious, with the food stand claiming discrimination and the airport pointing to missed deadlines.

— Texas Monthly discussed the devastating news from Business Insider that In-N-Out was the most popular burger chain in Texas.

— El Rincon, a Pfleugerville Tex-Mex restaurant, has closed after “a tough year.” The restaurant has been struggling since gaining national attention when a Yelp user reported finding teeth in her barbacoa taco.

— Emmer & Rye's chef de cuisine Page Pressley won StarChef's 8th annual Vitamix Challenge, a competition using the Vitamix dinner. His winning dish was roasted pumpkin tacos.
