Two beloved Texas food companies are uniting again: Whataburger is opening an all-hours drive-thru as part of HEB's new location out in Hutto, as first reported by Austin 360.
Aside from the Whataburger drive-thru, the HEB Plus!’s setup will also include a gas station and other sort of convenience store snacks and food. It will be available for everyone's fast food burger needs sometime next week.
Update, January 20: The Whataburger will open on Monday, January 23.
This isn’t the first Whataburger/HEB collaboration: there is a similar partnership as part of the grocery store’s Lytle location, and a version with Wendy's in San Antonio.
The supermarket also stocks the burger chain's sauces: peppercorn ranch, creamy pepper sauce, honey mustard, jalapeno ranch, and less-fatty version of mayonnaise, honey butter, variety of ketchup (including fancy and spicy versions), as well as bags of Whatafries. These goods are also available through HEB's online delivery site, so ex-Texans can satisfy their Whataburger needs.
