Asian-Texas fusion food truck Fresh Off the Truck is opening its own brick and mortar restaurant this year. Find Dragonbeard Kitchen within the Walnut Creek Business Park. It’s soft open right now until Saturday, January 21, with the grand debut pegged for February.

Chefs Duo Tova Ng and Paul Mai are whipping up comforting Asian street food made with Texas ingredients. Think the ni-haowdy fries topped with bacon and barbecue pork, hand-pulled candy, chicken katsu, sandwiches, eggrolls, and more. The bigger space means the menu will expand with new dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For easier service, Dragonbeard also features a drive-thru.

To prepare for the fast casual restaurant’s opening, Fresh Off the Truck closed up sometime last December.

Dragonbeard’s soft open hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. until Saturday. When it fully opens, hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
