— The sixth annual Quesoff is just around the corner, and the teams are announced. Cheesy dips from previous winners the Cream Team, Strange Goo, and Brisket and Bagels will be featured, including ones from restaurant contenders like Frank, Mighty Bird, Verts, Micklethwait Craft Meats, and more. A longer list runs below. There will be around 30 competing quesos. The judges this year include Addie Broyles from the Statesman, Antonelli’s Cheese Shop owner John Antonelli, and others. Teams can still enter to compete by shooting an email to queso@mohawkaustin.com. Everything takes place on Saturday, August 20 at Mohawk, and entry is free with two canned good donations for the Central Texas Food Bank.
