P. Terry’s flagship drive-thru is opening on Wednesday, August 24 within Capital Plaza. This is the 13th location of the Austin-based fast food chain. A rep told Eater previously that the flagship moniker is because of its "visually striking architecture and its placement" right off 35.
As the other spots, it was designed by Michael Hsu, with a dining room, patio, and the usual two-lane drive-thru.
This was part of P. Terry’s big empire-building, which owner Patrick Terry spoke about in 2015. The last location out on Lake Creek Parkway near 183 is set to open sometime later this year, bringing the number of spots to 14.
Drive-thru hours are from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m., Monday through Wednesday; 7 a.m. to 3 a.m. Thursday and Friday; 8 a.m. to 3 a.m. on Saturday; and 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Sunday. The dining room hours are from 7 a.m. to midnight on the weekdays and 8 a.m. to midnight on weekends.
