Eleven Plates, the Westlake restaurant boasting of serving just 11 items per menu, is closing after five years. According to its Facebook page, owners Mike and Kelly Swartz did not want to renew the lease for their Davenport Village space. The last day for the restaurant will happen sometime in early September.

Eleven’s New American menu focuses on small and large plates, along with an extensive wine menu. During its winding days, all bottles of wine are 40% off.

The Swartzes, who operated three franchise locations of fondue chain Melting Pot (including in Austin), opened Eleven Plates in 2011. The restaurant’s alumni include Vox Table chef Joe Anguiano.
