Prelog’s, the European-style restaurant within the Austin 360 building, is closing, which announced through its newsletter. But never fear: it’s just a temporary shutter. Chef/owner Florian Prelog and his wife Romana are looking to relocate the restaurant to a new address somewhere in the city.
The Prelogs are leaving the space on their own terms. For the new iteration of the restaurant, they're looking for a more intimate space. Prelog’s last day will be held on Sunday, August 28. Read the full newsletter note below.
In the winding days, the restaurant teases specials. The couple will keep busy in the meantime by offering private cooking classes and catering, as well as being involved with pre-packaged meal delivery program Full Fridge.
Prelog’s opened just before SXSW in 2015, taking over the shuttered Garrido's restaurant space in the Austin 360 building, which closed in 2014.
Prelog's is relocating
The restaurant will close temporarily on August 29. Chef-Owner Flo Prelog and his wife Romana are currently searching for a new location in Central Austin where they can continue the success they have achieved with Restaurant Prelog's. The family treasures their amazing patrons and the Central Austin surroundings, where they are hoping to find a more intimate space befitting their vision for Prelog's. The husband and wife team will continue to offer private Dining and Catering, In-home dinner with customized menu preparation and In-home cooking classes. The couple is also involved in Austin's newest food delivery service. You can read more about it at http://www.fullfridge.com/?s=pre, and check out the tasty menu that comprises their next box.
