A tree fell onto Italian restaurant Winflo Osteria during lunch today at around 1:30 p.m., as pointed out by a tipster. It knocked out the electricity and natural gas lines. The photo depicted above shows the back of the building. A call to the restaurant confirmed the occurrence.

Thankfully, no one was hurt, but the tipster noted that there was a gas leak. Because of the damages, the Clarksville restaurant will remain closed for the next several days for repairs.

Update, July 26: Winflo is still closed, but should reopen on Wednesday, July 27.

Winflo Osteria opened on West 6th Street in 2013, with an Italian focus, serving pasta, pizza, wine, and weekend brunch. Owner Michael Dickson also runs Brew Exchange, Benji's Cantina, Kung Fu Saloon, as well as the forthcoming luxury hostel The Native.
