Swift’s Attic will undergo a big change with a new executive chef takes the helm, Matthew Taylor, who has been on staff since 2012. The previous chef de cuisine replaces Zack Northcutt, who is leaving for a position at US Foods' Food Fanatics team.

Northcutt had been part of the Swift’s team since 2011. He took over as executive chef after Mat Clouser, who was on the original staff, left last year. Northcutt is known for his Big Ass Burger specials on Monday nights, which featured really over the top creations like the Hanukkah one with kugel and another one with a Reese’s Cup-filled beef patty.

In honor of Northcutt’s departure, Swift’s is throwing a special Big Ass Burger party on Monday, August 8, with ticket giveaways for free burgers.

Swift’s is under The Chameleon Group umbrella, which includes Wu Chow, a third unknown project on North Lamar, as well as helping with the expansion of famed New York bar Employees Only to Austin with The Townsend.
