After Musashino closed on Greystone Drive last month, the longtime sushi favorite is back this Saturday, June 11. The sushi restaurant announced the grand opening of its new location in a Facebook post yesterday.
In a move that brings Musashino to West Campus, the restaurant is taking over the space that formerly housed by Lisa and Emmett Fox’s Mediterranean-inspired Fino. The Foxes told they were excited to see what the new restaurant will do with the space.
The new location means more room; renderings shared earlier this spring depicted bar seating, a sushi counter and open block walls. According to a May Facebook post, lunch will happen next month.
Musashino has been serving what it describes as Tokyo-style sushi and other Japanese dishes for over 22 years. Its acclaimed roster of alums include Tyson Cole, Tatsu Aikawa and Takyua Matsumoto, Také Asazu, and Kazu Fukumoto.
